DIAGNOSTICS OF THE STATE OF FORMATION OF THE ACADEMIC CULTURE OF PIANISTS

As a general phenomenon, academic culture is inherent in all educational institutions. It is formed through training, research, and organizational activities in science and education. It goes beyond the social institute of education; its formation is related to the university environment and training. We explore it in the context of piano performance and pedagogy. The purpose of the study is to describe the author's approach to the formation of the academic culture of pianists during their professional training, which, according to the results of the pedagogical experiment, turned out to be effective. To assess the levels of academic culture formation, we offer a set of criteria and their corresponding indicators. Such criteria include behavioral, cognition, communicative, active, and personal aspects. Indicators related to these criteria include value orientations, academic knowledge, practical communication skills, and the need for achievement. Based on these criteria and indicators, we characterize four levels of academic culture: low (critical), medium (basic), above average (sufficient), and high (optimal). This structure provides a structured approach to assessing the development of the academic culture of pianists. We describe the author's model of training pianists, which has confirmed its effectiveness according to the developed criteria and indicators. In conclusion, we justify certain restrictions on disseminating results and emphasize the importance of longitudinal studies.
