The article raises the problem of visualizing educational material in teaching, which has become very relevant to education in the last decade. Objective: to prove the need for computer visualization of educational content in response to the request of the visual generation. Methods: analysis of theoretical results and psychological research
Results. The author presents the analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the differences between the terms "clearness" and "visualization," and the author's interpretation of the latter is given. In the example of teaching material, the approaches to visualization of key concepts are demonstrated. Attention is emphasized on associations as a means of using visual methods in material presentation. The results of psychological research on the perception of visual images in learning are given. The importance of the cognitive function of visualization of educational material is outlined. The use of specialized computer software for visualizing content is substantiated.
Conclusions. It is concluded that teachers must prepare to visualize the basic concepts and properties of the subject and use computer visualization tools in professional activities. Today's generation is a generation of visuals, so teaching approaches based on IT and visualization of educational material will be best accepted by young people and will have a positive effect. The cognitive-visual (visual-cognitive) approach to learning determines the educational technology based on the relationship and unity of the abstract and logical content of the academic material with visual-intuitive methods.
