Abstract

The subject of the study: the structure of the information culture of specialists. The digitalization of society necessitates the development of a corresponding type of culture. At the level of the New Ukrainian School, it is noted that young people need to develop information and digital competence. Employers as stakeholders of specialties point out the introduction of digital technologies in production and the need for virtual support of the institution/organization in cyberspace. This raises the issue of forming an appropriate type of culture in society - information and digital culture, the interpretation of the essence and structure of which is currently unclear. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the structure of the information culture of specialists.

Research methods: analysis of scientific sources, conceptual analysis, structural and logical analysis, comparison, and generalization to detail the components of the information culture of specialists.

Results. The structure of the information and digital culture of future specialists includes: axiological (worldview vision of ICT in the information society, understanding and awareness of the role of the digital culture in professional activities); motivational (desire to use the digital culture of professional orientation); technological (ability to use network and MM technologies); cognitive component (skills of working with information sources, including skills of searching and searching for information). including skills of searching, analyzing, evaluating, transmitting information, etc.); communicative and suggestive (ability to communicate in speech and language, mastery of verbal and non-verbal means of influence for the successful transmission of professional information); reflective (ability to self-development in the professional field and the field of digital technologies) component.

Conclusions. The formation of information and digital culture of future specialists involves a targeted impact on the personality in each of the components of information and digital culture.
